About Ray

Education: Ray studied Exercise Physiology at The University of Vermont (1978-79) then decided to serve our country in the United States Air Force in 1979. In 1986, he received an Honorable Discharge and Good Conduct Medal.

Certifications: Ray graduated from the prestigious Professional Training Institute in Las Vegas, NV in 2004 and has earned and maintains National Certifications from ACSM, ACE, NASM & NSCA.

Specialties: Ray is a Cancer Exercise Specialist as well as a Senior Fitness Specialist, he has rehabbed several cancer survivors. He is also a Nutrition and Bioidentical Hormone Replacement Therapy (BHRT) professional consultant. Biomechanics & rehabilitation are his specialties with anyone from a Professional Athlete to the elderly and physically challenged. His clients have been highlighted numerous times in the media such as the Houston Chronical and many other local newspapers, KPRC (Houston Channel 2, NBC), KHOU (Houston Channel 11, CBS) and KTRK (Houston Channel 13, ABC) for reaching fitness goals once thought unattainable! Ray is also a bodybuilder contest prep expert for both men and women. Ray has won numerous Best Poser awards as . Lastly, Ray literally lives on the golf course and has transformed several average golf player clients to an advanced playing level through his specific golf player training methods. His approach is to increase stronger core strength, greater range of motion and additional speed hitting the ball! What would you give to hit the ball 10 yards farther?

Additional: Ray is a former NPC Judge. He is also a Natural Pro Bodybuilder in the NGA. Now a days, he ranks consistently in the top 5 as a competitor at the NPC National Masters level in Pittsburgh (50-59 yrs. old). At 59 years old, Ray enjoys perfect health and a youthful physique due to the bodybuilding lifestyle. Ray’s attitude toward his clients is “If there’s a will… there’s a Ray.”



Ray’s mission is to bring about meaningful, positive change in the lives of our clients. It is a team effort that requires hard work and dedication from both the trainer and the client.  Ray’s clients are examples of what education, time, and consistency with resistance training and nutritional guidance can accomplish. He inspires others to pursue a healthier lifestyle and makes every effort to help prevent, reduce or eliminate the client’s need for prescription medications.  Fitness programs include restoring optimal hormonal and nutrient balance, removing toxicities and rebalancing the mind and the body.
